day ten

I hate voiceovers. Why do I need you to tell me what I'm watching? Why do you need to tell me how I'm feeling? And what am I feeling? Stupid people.

You think I trust you to decide for yourself what you're watching and feeling? Pfaw.

But surely there are exceptions?

The only movie that I was tempted to leave half way through was one with OUT OF CONTROL voice over. It drove me so crazy that I put my hoodie over my head and tightened the strings (my roomie wanted to stay).

"Editorgirl hated voiceovers. She thought that they were patronizing, because they told people what they were watching and how they were feeling."

Seriously, do you even hate the voiceovers on Arrested Development?

The voiceovers in Arrested Developement are what make the show in my opinion. The show wouldn't be half as funny without them. (Oh, and you're probably wondering who I am. I'm a friend of Joe Plicka's & I stumbled onto your blog from his!)
